There is a condition, temporary of course, called chemo-brain. I'm sure he's just momentarily muddling you up with someone else! I have seen nothing but perfection on this blog!
Men often say things that they don't mean but they just can't seem to stop themselves saying it. My mum once said to me as we drove past a group of builders-bums, "men are always digging holes". How right she was.

omg! that's hilarious!! i burst out laughing. men are brilliant aren't they! they just can't get that brain into gear before they've put their tongues on turbo. i once had expensive hair colour put in (after box job went really badly wrong and i went quite red - tresses and face). when i got home husband said, looking hugely relieved despite fact i'd just spent 100 quid at the hairdressers, ''oh thank god for that, you used to look like a right slapper''! marvellous.

It's all a matter of perpective Anthea. If my husband called me a right slapper I would have taken it as a compliment but, unfortunately, those days are well past.
